Med senaste skivan "Payback Time" har Tummel tagit ett litet steg bort
från den mera traditionella klezmer- och balkanmusiken, även om musiken
fortfarande har starka rötter där. Men vi älskar alla fortfarande denna
musik, och vill inte sluta att spela den. Därför existerar sedan en tid
tillbaka "Øresund Klezmer Balkan Orchestra" (ØKB Orchestra), som tar
spelningar där arrangören är mera ute efter traditionell Klezmer- och
Balkanmusik.
ØKB Orchestra består av medlemmar ur Tummel, i bland kompletterat med
andra framstående musiker inom samma genre, och spelar traditionell
klezmer- och balkanmusik och egna låtar i samma stil, av den typ som
förekommer på Tummels Transit- och OY- skivor.
ØKB Orchestra kontaktas på samma sätt som för Tummel.

Since the last cd "Payback Time", Tummel has taken a slight step away
from the more traditional Klezmer and Balkan music, though our music is
still firmly rooted in that tradition. But we all still love that music,
and don´t want to stop playing it. Therefore, we have created the
constellation "Øresund Klezmer Balkan Orchestra", which does concerts
where the arranger is looking for more traditional music.
ØKB Orchestra concists of the members of Tummel, somtimes with
additional other musicians playing in the same tradition. We play
traditional Klezmer and Balkan Music, and own compositions in the same
style, such as the songs of Tummel's Transit and OY cds.
